92 years ago... "I have transformed my t-shirt into a dress replicating the fashion of 1918, 92 years ago. My given number being 92. I didn't want the end result to look like the t-shirt I was given, I wanted to manipulate it into something from past fashions in the way I did for my degree show exhibition, where I made several 1950s style dresses from mixed media. I came to make this piece by moving from the idea of looking at 1992..then the 92nd day of the year..then the 92nd day of 1992..92 days ago...and finally 92 years ago. I finished my garment by trying to distress it slighty, giving it a more authentic appearance."
